How much does pharmacy software cost in Nepal? HopMeds has three plans from Rs 999 a month, each with unlimited bills and patients. They differ in branches, staff logins, label scans, books and doctor features, and paying yearly gives you twelve months for about the price of ten.

A trial with every Pro feature, no card needed
When your access request is approved, your pharmacy starts on a trial with every Pro feature switched on, from books and doctor pairing to branch transfers and the Refill Club. No card is taken, so nothing is charged when it ends.
Use the trial to bring your stock list in, add your staff and run real bills. The app shows how many trial days are left; choose a plan from Settings → Plan & billing before it ends.

How signing up works
HopMeds accounts are not created automatically. A person at HopMeds reads every request before a pharmacy goes live.

- Confirm your email with the code we send you.
- Someone at HopMeds reviews your request.
- Once approved, the owner’s login is set up and your trial starts.
How you pay: a bank QR transfer, checked by our team
There is no card billing and no automatic charge. When you choose a plan, at signup or later from Settings → Plan & billing, HopMeds shows a QR for that plan’s monthly or yearly amount. Pay it from your mobile banking app, then enter the payer’s name, the bank and the transaction reference.
The HopMeds team checks each payment by hand before your plan changes, so it is not instant: allow a working day.
To renew a plan, email info@hopmeds.com with your pharmacy name and the plan you want, and we reply with the bank transfer details.

What HopMeds does not claim: There is no online card or wallet billing, and a paid plan does not switch on the moment you pay: every plan payment is a bank QR transfer that our team verifies by hand. “Unlimited” means only what the table shows: bills and patients on every plan, and branches, staff logins, label scans and doctor devices on Pro alone. The prices above are the current public catalog, the same figures the signup screen shows.
Questions about pricing
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Once your access request is approved, your pharmacy gets a trial with every Pro feature, up to 3 branches and 30 label scans a month, and no card is needed. The app shows the trial days left. No plan stays free afterwards, so choose Basic, Plus or Pro before it ends.
How do I pay for a plan?
By bank QR transfer. Choose a plan at signup or in Settings → Plan & billing, pay the QR from your mobile banking app and enter the transaction reference. The HopMeds team verifies it by hand before your plan changes, so it is not instant. There is no online card or wallet billing.
Is it cheaper to pay yearly?
Yes. A monthly subscription costs Rs 999, Rs 1,499 or Rs 2,499; a year costs Rs 9,999, Rs 14,999 or Rs 24,999, about ten months at the monthly rate. You save Rs 1,989, Rs 2,989 or Rs 4,989 compared with paying monthly, roughly two months free.
Is there a limit on bills or patients?
No. Every plan has unlimited bills and patients, with no monthly cap on bills. The plans differ only in the limits and features listed in the table above.
What does “owner + 1 staff login” mean?
The owner’s login is always included and does not count. Basic adds one staff login, Plus adds two and Pro has no limit. Each person signs in with their own login and role, such as pharmacist, receptionist or accountant, and can be limited to their branch.
What is a label scan?
When stock arrives, photograph a medicine label and HopMeds reads the batch number, expiry date and MRP into the form for you to check before saving. Basic includes 50 of these a month, Plus 150, Pro unlimited and the trial 30. The count resets monthly, and you can still type the details by hand.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes. In Settings → Plan & billing, pick the new plan and pay by QR with the transaction reference; the HopMeds team reviews it and then changes your plan. Moving to a smaller plan? Talk to us first so your branches and staff logins fit. If a plan runs out, a short grace period follows in which everything keeps working; after that the app asks you to renew before you can carry on.
Is there a setup fee, and will you help move my stock in?
No separate setup fee is listed in the price catalog. We help you get started, including moving your current stock list in with the guided import: upload an Excel or CSV file, check the preview, match the columns, then apply.
